About Us

Welcome to Pine Hollow Middle School, proud home of the Pilots! Nestled in the vibrant Leesville/Umstead area of Northwest Raleigh, our school first opened its doors in July 2016 to accommodate the rapid population growth and overcrowding in Wake County, providing a state-of-the-art facility to support local families.

Pine Hollow originally operated on a multi-track year-round calendar, rotating four distinct student tracks to utilize the campus twelve months out of the year. However, as shifting population trends eased enrollment pressures in northern Wake County, the school successfully transitioned to a traditional school calendar during the 2025-26 school year.
